Credits

Understand how credits work, what they cost, and how to manage them.

Credits are the currency that powers AI, automation, and messaging features across WiseParts. Every plan includes a monthly credit allowance that renews at the start of each billing cycle.

Quick Overview: Credits are consumed by AI interactions, voice transcription, automations, and SMS. Monitor your balance on the Billing page and purchase additional credits anytime from Manage Subscription.

Usage Examples

Sales rep completing 10 activity reports via voice:

  • 10 form-fill conversations = 10 credits
  • 10 voice transcriptions (~30 seconds each) = 100 credits
  • Total: ~110 credits

Customer service agent handling 20 conversations with AI:

  • 20 AI-assisted replies = 20 credits
  • 5 audio message transcriptions (~1 min each) = 50 credits
  • Total: ~70 credits

50 automations running daily for a month:

  • 50 × 30 days = 1,500 credits/month

Monitoring Your Balance

The Billing page shows a credit usage card with:

  • Credits Remaining — your current available balance
  • Credits Allocated — total credits for this billing period
  • Usage bar — turns red when you drop below 20%

Check your balance regularly to avoid service interruptions.

Purchasing Additional Credits

Your plan includes a base credit allowance. You can purchase additional credits in increments:

  1. Go to Billing and click Manage Subscription
  2. Use the Additional Credits slider to select the amount you need
  3. Review the updated cost in the summary panel
  4. Click Save Changes

Additional credits are billed immediately (prorated for the current period) and added to your allocation going forward. The slider shows the monthly cost for each increment level.

If your organization requires approval for subscription changes, you'll click Submit Request instead. An administrator will review and approve the change.

Credit Alerts

Set up notifications so you're never caught off guard when credits run low.

Configuring Alerts

  1. Go to Billing and click Manage Subscription
  2. Scroll to the Credit Alerts section
  3. Set the alert threshold — the percentage at which you want to be notified (e.g., 90% means you're alerted when 90% of credits have been used)
  4. Choose which users should receive the alerts
  5. Click Save Changes

How Alerts Work

Two types of alerts are sent via email and in-app notification:

AlertWhen It Triggers
Threshold reachedWhen usage crosses your configured percentage
Credits exhaustedWhen your balance reaches zero
Manage your subscription settings including seats, credits, and billing cycle.

Credit Renewal

Credits renew automatically at the start of each billing cycle:

  • Your balance resets to your full allocation (base + any additional purchased credits)
  • Unused credits from the previous period do not roll over
  • Alert notifications reset, so you'll be notified again if thresholds are crossed in the new period

When Credits Run Out

  • AI and automation features become unavailable until credits renew or are purchased
  • Configured users receive an exhaustion alert by email and in-app notification
  • All other platform features continue to work normally
Tip: Set your alert threshold to 80–90% so you have time to purchase additional credits before running out.
